Spanish League ACB and Spanish Players Association ABP have started a new way of collaboration and joint work with the signing of the IV Collective Agreement (CBA) between both organizations. THis agreement will remain in force until June 30, 2022.

The IV Collective Agreement is now pending ratification from the Assemblies of both the League and the Players Association.

ACB President Antonio Martín, appreciates the signing of the new agreement as "a consequence of the improvement of relations and the spirit of joint work between the ACB and the ABP". Meanwhile, Alfonso Reyes, president of the ABP, has shown his "satisfaction for the good harmony existing in the last negotiations" and wishes that "this relationship allows us to continue reaching more agreements in the future".

This new CBA will replace the one which was signed almost eleven years ago, in March 2008.
