The Belgian Pro Basketball League Licence Commission decided on the 2018-19 licence applications: An A-licence was assigned to the nine clubs: Crelan Okapi Aalstar, Telenet Giants Antwerp, Proximus Spirou Basket, BC Oostende, Belfius Mons-Hainaut, VOO Liège Basket, Basic-Fit Brussels, Hubo Limburg United and Kangoeroes Basket Willebroek. Stella Artois Leuven Bears was awarded a B-license, this means that Leuven will participate in the Belgian championship but will not be eligible to take part in any European competition during next season.
